This Elegant Michelene peignoir robe from the 1950s is sheer elegance.
A very wide lace border trims the neckline and set-in waist.
The same lace also adorns the three quarter length sleeves with the elastic set in halfway in the lace to create a charming, pouffed ruffle.
I photographed the robe over a gold satin gown in order to show detail.
